Although born and raised in Copenhagen, Sarah spent many of her formative years traveling through Central and South America with her father, who worked as a photographer and filmmaker. During the years of traveling, Sarah developed a strong passion for Latin American art and cultural heritage, and photography became her form of expression alongside art. Her work often depicts shapes and geometries of the natural world, and is often accompanied by writings and messages. After completing her Masters in Visual Art and Communication at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen in 2003, Sarah runs her successful studio DasRotesRabbit, which includes visual art and communication alongside her career as a photographer. Sarah continues to travel with her work, combining both commercial and personal projects.
